Ones‘ level of participation is determined by his or her own goals. Individuals choose forms of assistance they need as they take part in the center’s community of support and safety.

Text Box: On Our Own of Charlottesville is a non-profit consumer based peer support recovery center for those who acknowledge difficulties in their lives due to mental illness, addiction, homelessness or co-occurring disorders. We offer information, education, referral services, self-help opportunities and mutual support. So come on in, be our guest, have a look around. We also offer peer support training, information for family and friends of consumers or anyone looking to find out more about peer support recovery and the consumer movement.
