To provide mutual support, self-help, advocacy, education, information and referral services for individuals who acknowledge having significant problems in their lives due to mental illness and who are seeking to take  responsibility for their own growth and recovery while supporting each other. We actively advocate for positive change within the traditional mental health system.

          Our center is funded by The State Department of Behavioral Health and is located in a welcoming, two-story house. The center offers a safe, comfortable environment for those wanting recovery.  . It is the primary location for peer support activities and resources. Other support resources are provided through referrals to partners in the community and activities provided in other locations. Life in the Center includes guests, members, staff, and volunteers all participating in the particular parts of the program they choose to fulfill their commitment to their own recovery and support for others. We provide PACSS services through funding and a strong partnership with Region Ten Community Services Board. Together we provide intensive peer support, usually to those out in the community, although the PACSS clients are encouraged to participate in center activities.  Read more...

On Our Own has one staff person funded by Western State Hospital who works at the hospital. This person’s responsibility is to establish rapport with patients and provide support and community transition services for patients from our region currently in treatment at Western State Psychiatric Hospital.  Read more...

       Our PATH services are also funded by and in partnership with our Region Ten counterparts. This outreach effort focuses on individuals dealing with mental health issues who are also homeless or at risk of becoming homeless.
