<image:caption>Anger Management Explore, learn, and develop new strategies to help manage anger and other emotions. Anger is a normal, healthy reaction to the world, and in itself is neither good nor bad. It signals to us that a situation is upsetting, unjust, or threatening. In certain circumstances, however, anger and similar emotions can overcome our ability to address the very thing that is causing our strong reactions. And sometimes, our reactions can make the problem worse by hurting ourselves or others. In this group, we explore how to manage our strong reactions to the world, and use their power for positive change. <image:title>Substance Use: Louisa - Wednesday 1pm to 2pm Wellness Recovery Action Plan (WRAP) GROUP</image:title>
<image:caption>Note: this is an in-person group held at the house! Wellness Recovery Action Plan or WRAP is an evidence-based practice used worldwide by people dealing with mental health or general health challenges. WRAP focuses on self-empowerment for wellness and wholeness rather than illness and sickness, and is a wellness and recovery approach that helps people to: 1) decrease and prevent intrusive or troubling feelings and behaviors, 2) increase personal empowerment, 3) improve quality of life, and 4) achieve their own life goals and dreams. WRAP is a structured system to monitor uncomfortable and distressing symptoms that can help you reduce, modify or eliminate those symptoms by using planned responses. This includes plans for how you want others to respond when symptoms have made it impossible for you to continue to make decisions, take care of yourself or keep yourself safe. Please note that this is an in person group that we host at the house.</image:caption>

<image:title>Substance Use: Nelson - Wednesday 1pm to 2pm Wellness Recovery Action Plan (WRAP) GROUP</image:title>

<image:title>Substance Use: Augusta - Wednesday 1pm to 2pm Wellness Recovery Action Plan (WRAP) GROUP</image:title>

<image:title>Mental Health:: Albemarle - Wednesday 1pm to 2pm Wellness Recovery Action Plan (WRAP) GROUP</image:title>

<image:title>Mental Health: Louisa - Monday 1pm to 2pm</image:title>
<image:title>Mental Health: Louisa - Wednesday 1pm to 2pm Wellness Recovery Action Plan (WRAP) GROUP</image:title>
